Getting Started (Twinleaf Town → Route 201)

Choose Your Starter

You’ll meet Rowan and choose one of these Pokémon:

  • Turtwig (Grass) — Defensive, strong later

  • Chimchar (Fire → Fire/Fighting) — Fast, best overall choice

  • Piplup (Water → Water/Steel) — Great mid/late game

First Battles

  • Battle your rival once.

  • Visit Sandgem Town to get your Pokédex.
